We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner preferably from the pharma industry who will be dedicated to our commercial business area especially supporting our Chief Commercial Officer and his leadership team.

In the role as Senior HR Business Partner, you will be working as a trusted partner for the commercial management team supporting their strategic organizational agenda to achieve results. To become a success in this role, you must be proactive, a strategic thinker, and of course passionate about the role of HR Business Partnering. You will drive the yearly cycle activities related to Organizational review, People review, and Engagement dialogues and work closely with the leaders to ensure activities around talent, performance, rewards, etc. are well embedded into our organization. You will collaborate with other HR Business Partners across functions and different geographies to align the employee experience to overall business goals and priorities. 

Our Commercial organization is currently expanding both its geographical presence and building new capabilities. The strategy is ambitious, and it is relevant that you have experience in scaling businesses and are knowledgeable about and thrive in a commercial setting. You are capable of leading organizational development projects that are key to Bavarian Nordic’s commercial growth in existing markets and expansion to new markets. This includes organizational design, capability building, and headcount planning.

As Senior HR Business Partner you will report to the Senior HR Director who covers HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, and Leadership Development. You become part of a team of approx. 20 highly skilled colleagues placed primarily in Denmark but with colleagues in the US, Germany, and Switzerland as well. The role is global, and the person is preferably placed in Germany or Denmark, but can as such be in any of our four primary locations. You should expect travel activities 2-4 times a year for global meetings.

  • Coach and guide leaders to create high-performing teams. 
  • Help develop and roll out Global HR initiatives.

  • +8 years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner with proven results from successfully implementing changes. 
  • A solid understanding of building/scaling business in a global setup.
  • Having worked as an HR Business Partner in a start-up, biotech, or pharma company is an advantage. 
  • Knowledge and experience from a commercial environment are a big plus.
