Business Development Manager
With experience from selling machinery/vehicle finance solutions

The goods and people transport business is developing faster than ever. New technologies and solutions are constantly being developed to support this evolution. Would you like to join Scania Danmark within the truck sales department in a new role to drive this development. The initial focus in this function will be sales of Scania financial solutions & insurances but also support the regional sales teams in selling Scania solutions (example - R&M contracts, Fleet Management Solutions, Driver Services ect.)

You will join a very skilled sales team and work in a close collaboration with the regional sales managers to support our country wide sales organisation. Further you will be responsible to support our private dealers in selling financial solutions and insurance. 

In this role you will be a professional sparring partner to develop our solution sales strategy to our customers. In addition you will also be directly involved in complex sales to fleet accounts.

You will have an active role to develop and coordinate work cross functionally with Scania head quarter, our EUR-N regional team and internal Scania Danmark stakeholders.

In this role you will report to the Sales Director and be a member of the truck sales management team. 

Key responsibilities
•    Support our Key Account Managers selling finance and -insurance to major fleet customers
•    Support and drive finance and insurance sale to used vehicle customers in collaboration with our used vehicle center in Kolding
•    Support our private dealer in selling finance and insurance to end customers 
•    Business development within truck sales department for both products and services
•    Drive usage and development needs for sales tools and systems in close cooperation with the product department, digitalisation & IT-team etc.
•    Take part in market analysis and development of sales strategies, commercial conditions and mandates. 

Your Profile
•    Relevant theoretical education
•    You have a minimum of 3 years experience of line management within relevant areas
•    You have experience from selling/providing finance solutions within machine/vehicle sector
•    Experience from insurance-sale will be an advantage
•    Knowledge and/or experience from truck business will be a major advantage
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Result orientation, demonstrating the effort and ambition to achieve results.
•    Inspiring others: Energizing and inspiring others to strive for excellence and commit to common goals and purposes.
•    Leading change: You actively promote new ideas and methods with a structured and analytical approach.
•    You are willing to travel, find international contacts stimulating and communicate in both Danish &  English fluently.     
•    You have a genuine interest in people and customers to grow and develop our business in a structured way of working.
•    You have a hands-on way of collaboration to support each business area in leading this development and taking the necessary steps.
