If so, you might be the perfect candidate to join our dynamic sales team as Commercial Director.

MyDefence is at the forefront of counter-drone technology, using advanced wireless communication systems to innovate and lead in our industry. We are on the lookout for experienced Commercial Directors to join our sales team and support our ambitious growth objectives. In this role, you will report directly to our VP of Sales.

Your key responsibilities will be centered around:

Cultivating customer relationships: Establish and maintain strong connections, understanding and meeting customer needs to foster long-term partnerships.

Demonstrating our innovations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to a variety of audiences, showcasing the unique capabilities of our technology.

Expanding our reach: Attend industry expos and conferences, engaging with current and potential clients to promote our products and solutions.

Driving market intelligence: Identify and analyze market trends and shifts, staying ahead of competitors and identifying new business opportunities.

Developing and implementing sales plans: Collaborate extensively with internal teams, including sales, R&D, operations, and marketing, to develop and implement strategic sales plans.

Achieving targets: Regularly track and strive to meet commercial KPIs and team objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What we expect from you:

Professional qualifications:

Proven sales expertise: Several years of successful sales experience, ideally within defense, tech or engineering-focused industries and a proven track record within B2B and B2G markets.

Market experience: Experience with markets within Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a similar field.

Strong network: It is an advantage, if you are well-connected within the industry, with contacts among potential partners and decision-makers.

Language skills: Proficiency in English is required; additional proficiency in Danish, French, Spanish, German, or Arabic is preferred.

Security clearance: Must be eligible for security clearance by Danish authorities.

Personal skills:

Driven and organized: Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Effective communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all levels of the organization.

Results oriented: Focused on achieving sales goals and continuously seeking improvement.
