As our new Senior Finance Manager,  you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information and providing strategic financial guidance. You have a proven track record of leading and developing high performance teams and in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and standards.

This is a high-profile leadership role within the business with overall responsibility for Financial Operations. The Senior Finance Manager  is part of the Extended Management Team and an important partner across the business.


The Finance team currently consists of 5 talented financial enthusiasts with high ambitions. You will manage a diverse team ranging from junior to senior profiles – with a focus on both building and operating a strong finance setup.

You will be part of a scale up children lifestyle brand in a dynamic team powered by ambition, passion, and strong business acumen.

You will be referring to CFO, and working from our beautiful LIEWOOD HQ in Copenhagen, Blegdamsvej 124.

 

Tasks  

  • Leading and development of our Finance team
  • Overseeing daily bookkeeping
  • Supervising the monthly salary payments
  • Drive month end closing and management reporting
  • Business analysis preparation and reporting
  • Cash flow management
  • Act as right hand to the CFO

You have

  • Experience from a similar role and manager experience
  • leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage a team
  • An extrovert, energetic, and driven person with an ambitious mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience of ERP systems (Business Central)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • A degree in finance or business, along with previous experience in controlling or audit, is expected.

 

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance/Economics combined with a successful career within a finance department for +7 years preferably within a similar business and in a scale up company.

As this is a senior and key role, solid leadership experience is a must. We are further looking for leaders that have experience in building, scaling, transforming and continuously developing a strong finance department.
