Transport Controller

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated candidate who has strong competencies within transport and logistics. You will become part of a team that is responsible for freight negotiations, performance measuring towards external providers and internal business intelligence tools.

You will play an important role in:
As a Transport Controller, you will:

  • Participate in benchmark /tender activities
  • Create and maintain Excel-based tools for handling offers during negotiations
  • Handle monthly KPI reports and conduct performance meetings
  • Participate in sustainability projects
  • Participate in projects to develop and maintain applications providing data, information and business intelligence
  • Support business users on our different sites with issues, questions and requests

We imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant education and a deep knowledge within transport and logistics
  • Have previous experience with both Excel and preferable Power BI
  • Have some knowledge of transport law, insurance and Incoterms
  • Appreciate a structured way of working
  • Are service-minded and motivated to work with colleagues and transport providers from around the world
  • Are an independent, motivated learner and a collaborative team player
  • Have good English skills
  • Are comfortable with presenting and training colleagues in using internal applications

Transport Management supports the PrimeServ Headquarters and International Group Companies in relation to entering and implementing framework agreements, maintaining global Freight Calculator, KPI handling towards transport providers, transport market intelligence and continuous improvements between PrimeServ and contract partners. We are a small team located in Frederikshavn but work closely with local stakeholders on several different sites in our global network.
