In this pivotal role, you will have the unique chance to integrate Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) into a seamless, synergistic unit. You will ensure a unified approach to the QEHS work by improving communication and collaboration organization wide.
You will have overall responsibility for QEHS Fresh Sites Denmark, where you initiate and run adaptation and improvement projects, supporting both QEHS and business objectives.
The most important responsibilities include:
There will be both internal stakeholders (e.g. management representatives within sales, production, purchasing, and IT) and external stakeholders (e.g. relevant authorities, customers, suppliers, and universities).
You will be part of QEHS's management team, and your direct reference will be Senior VP QEHS.
To accommodate presence and visibility due to the decentralized structure of the QEHS organization some travel activity is expected with approx. 50 annual travel days, but this may vary. Hence you will uphold a fair amount of long-distance management for the organization.
You hold a relevant master's degree in food science as a veterinarian, MSc Environmental Engineering, or similar. You bring min. 10 years’ experience from the food industry and +5 years of management experience.
Knowledge of health and safety as well as environmental and food safety standards is essential. However, in-depth knowledge is not required.
