We are looking for an Senior angular software engineer ready to share and grow!

The position is based in our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland. As a Senior angular software engineer you will work in an agile development team enabling modern mortgage solutions for Danish market. You will be part of a full stack team with Angular, and Java developers, testers, and business analysts.

The team is responsible for development of application supporting bank advisors during the process of granting and maintain of mortgage loans. We are part of Mortgage Domain where we have 4 cross-functional teams delivering new features to Danish banks.

As a senior angular software engineer, you will have a chance to play a key role with shaping up the front-end architecture and help us move the modernization of our application.

The team currently consist of 10 dedicated member with employees split between Denmark and Poland. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Jakub Milewski. 

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Developing & documenting front-end business solutions.
• Driving architectural changes and create standards around front-end development for client-facing solutions. 
• Being responsible for the whole development lifecycle: from technical analysis of stories and bugs, technical design, to development, dev testing and release. 
• Applying DevOps culture into your daily work looking for process improvements and driving its implementation. 
• Working closely with fellow developers, architects, BAs, testers, and Product Owners.

To succeed you will have:

• 5+ experience in Front end development in Angular
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience working with micro frontends or hybrid apps architecture (at least one is a must) 
• Experience with complex Angular applications, components, modules, services, rxjs and observables 
• Familiar with testing frameworks (ex. Jasmine or Jest) & test runner framework (ex. Karma)​, playwright
• Understanding of UI frameworks concept (e.g. Google Material Design). 
• Hands on experience with GIT, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, VS Code or IntelliJ IDEA. 
• Familiar with mentoring using pair programming, code reviews, firm mentorship. 
• Familiar with Software Craftsmanship and Built-in Quality. 
• Approach that is naturally curious, detail-oriented, proactive and focused on helping each other 
• Higher education, preferably in IT

It’s nice-to-have:

• DevOps experience, Scrum/Agile mindset, UX/UI experience
