Payroll & HR Partner

We are searching for a Payroll specialist

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our People data & Payroll team - a cross boarder team of 12 people located across Roskilde, Herning and Warsaw.

Within the Polish division, you’ll collaborate with 3 adept Payroll & HR partners, each bringing a wealth of experience to the table in supporting our organization with a full spectrum of payroll-related services. They work close with a designated business partner for a specific area of the organization and keep their part of the organization updated on everything from vacation rules, collective agreement and ad hoc statistics and reports. Furthermore, 7 colleagues in BEC Poland, are covering people data, people insights, payroll and related HR admin.   

The positions offer an opportunity to grow and take part in the transformation of vital HR processes. I addition to smooth operations we are focused on data quality and flow. You need to enjoy working in different kind of systems and have a proactive mindset.  

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Birgitte Kryger Rasmussen.

Primary task and responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for payroll together with experienced senior partner  

  • Dealing with various queries from employees, managers and other internal stakeholders 

  • Ensure compliance with all internal/external regulations and requirements 

  • Participating in projects for improving data quality and flow  

  • Answer payroll and HR related questions from managers and employees 

  • Reconciliation 

  • Monthly reporting  

  • Provide ad hoc data extracts and statistics to the organization, for audits 

  • Handle organizational changes in our systems 

To succeed you will have:   

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources or similar speciality

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR

  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll calculation, preferable with copyrights in IT industry  

  • Experience in working with HR&Payroll providers

  • Knowledge of Polish legislation (labour law and tax) 

  • Knowledge of ZUS, PFRON, GUS, and other relevant declaration preparation and submission  

  • Experience in PPK administration

  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP is a must)

  • Structured and analytical  

  • Enjoy ensuring high quality operations  in a positive and proactive manner

  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge  

  • Open to new, strategic initiatives and take part in finding new solutions  

  • Act as a sparring partner for stakeholders and engage in confidential dialogues 

  • English fluency is essential

It’s nice-to-have: 

  • Knowledge of a payroll system such as TETA, Enova, SAP or similar 

  • Experience with D365

  • A payroll certificate
