We are searching for a SAS software engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Transaction monitoring and Reporting Team within AML program. The team consists of software engineers, business analyst reporting to the development manager. The team provides transaction monitoring functionality and reporting products to our customers on the SAS Platform. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Anna Maria Kozakowska.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Deliver new features within our AML solutions – both backend and frontend – for our bank customers
• Ensure robust and scalable solutions and maintenance
• Focus on end-user perspective (UX/UI)
• Foster quality driven approach for our solutions
• Support business analysis and problem-solve to find the best technical solution for our customers
• Implement good practices and share knowledge in our community of practice

To succeed you will have:

• Knowledge of the SAS language
• Knowledge of data modeling
• Knowledge of SAS9 and SAS Viya environments
• Front-end programming skills (preferable)
• Experience in SAS Visual Investigator (preferable) or SAS Visual Analytics
• Preferably knowledge of the SAS AML suite
• Preferable experience with Agile
• Good English skills verbal and written
