We are searching for a Platform engineer (cloud)

For this role, we are looking for you to join Nykredit – one of the Danish banks BEC Poland works closely with.

This position is based at our friendly office in vibrant Warsaw, Poland where you will join our Cloud Solutions Team, in charge of Nykredits Cloud Infrastructure.

The role as Cloud Infrastructure Specialist offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, with the newest cloud technologies, and to be part of innovative projects that aims to enhance Nykredit's digital transformation. At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Anders Damm.

Primary task and responsibilities include: 

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to ensure high availability
• Automate and optimize cloud operations using tools like Azure DevOps
• Provide guidance and support to other teams
• Resolve incidents and service requests from cloud development teams
• In close collaboration with both team members and stakeholders
• Travel to our locations in Copenhagen and Aalborg, Denmark when needed

To succeed you will have:     

• Essential tech competencies in Azure cloud services, security, and automation.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure management and optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Personal traits such as being proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

It’s nice-to-have: 

• Additional tech competencies in other cloud platforms like AWS, Oracle or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Scale and Cloud Adoption Framework
• Specific sector knowledge in finance or banking.
• Specific project experience in large-scale cloud migrations.
• Relevant personal competencies such as leadership and project management skills.
