The positions are based at our friendly office in Warsaw where you will join our Technology Transformation PMO & Discovery team which is part of BEC’s Technology Transformation Program.  

BEC is a large full-service IT house providing financial IT services towards member banks and financial institutions. The services and products cover most of the IT needs from a banking perspective ranging from IT operations of core systems, physical workstations and software. 

The Technology Transformation Program aims a renewing a large portion of BEC’s current products where some of them are on an aging technology stack into updated and modern technologies. The PMO & Discovery Team is responsible for supporting and following up on the progress of the Tech Transformation Program and are instrumental in ensuring the programs’ progression. The PMO Consultant role offers an impactful role in BEC’s Technology Transformation office, working with key stakeholders, keeping an overview, orchestrate communication efforts around the transformation and helping progress of the delivery tracks. We are searching for a senior consultant as well as a junior consultant. Your direct manager will be Sanne Sommer Lyster. 

Primary task and responsibilities include: 

• Scope management - help in determining and documenting the project goals, tasks, and deliverables as a part of the planning process in collaboration with track leads 
• Time / plan management – detailing and developing timeline for project completion. Proactively build and maintain integrated roadmap for the technology transformation. Help actively manage dependencies between tracks & with key stakeholders  
• Risk management – support identification and assessment of risks and potential roadblocks to the technology transformation plan, and establish strategies and mitigating actions preventing risks from occurring
• Issue management – efficiently manage and resolve problems occurring and coach and guide peers and colleagues on issue handling
• Communication - provide clear and concise communication enabling a transparent view of the program progress to all levels in the organization, hereunder senior management presentations and KPI reporting
• Stakeholder management – proactively engaging with stakeholders, managing expectations and support in driving the transformational implementation activities

To succeed you will have:   

• Experience within project or program management 
• Ability to communicate technical matters in a clear and straightforward manner 
• An updated project management toolbox hereunder experiences with change management analysis and implementation 
• Strategic flair and ability to see the full scope  
• Well-developed technical understanding and ability to grasp complexity 
• A persistent and pro-active mindset 
• Relevant educational background, preferably at master’s level 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
