We are looking for an experienced Senior cobol engineer to join our Payments Team at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland. As a Senior Cobol Engineer, you will be responsible for building components to support the European payments infrastructure.
The Payments team focuses on developing and managing essential payment systems, including domestic and international services, debit cards, wallet solutions, and SWIFT. We ensure secure and stable transactions, maintain compliance with industry standards, and integrate payment infrastructure with third parties.
This role offers the opportunity to build future infrastructure by combining Cobol and Java solutions, helping our customers stay competitive. The team consists of 15 dedicated members split between Denmark and Poland. At BEC, we prefer frequent office collaboration but also offer the flexibility to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Ali Razvi.
