We are searching for a Platform/System engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in the Warsaw office in Polen and you will join our Digital Bank Foundation. Digital Bank Foundation is in charge of Net- and mobile bank and ensures stable and secure operations for both the banks and their customers on these applications. We see this as one of BEC’ s diamonds and deliver to more than 2 million end users.    

The Platform/ System engineer is a crucial part of an agile team, maintaining and delivering new functionality to the end users. This position will give you the opportunity to provide a substantial change to the Danish banking Industry and end users satisfaction. The open position will have to focus on monitoring, incidents handling, developing API’s and off course maintenance. You will work together with other colleagues who present their applications in Net- and mobile bank, around in our organization. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Head of Digital Bank Foundation Heidi Bjarnø Hagman. 

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Processing of bank requirements together with business analysts to transform customer requirements into feasible development tasks.  
• Maintain and develop data integrations 
• Ad hoc handling of any incidents reported by customers, to ensure that operational issues on the Netbank application are resolved.  

To succeed you will need (to): 

• Knowledge around microservice architecture 
• Technical experience with Spring or Spring Boot 
• Experience with OpenShift (PaaS), Kubernetes or be willing to learn it 
• Passion for building stable and safe applications 
• Excellent problem-solving skills 
• Ability to take ownership of projects, focused on delivery  
• Experience with working in an agile team and being an active part in agile events 
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
