We are currently looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team here at Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre.

Do
  • You assist a team of experienced F&B professionals, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • You lead by example, demonstrating best practices in service, management, and customer interaction.
  • You assist in setting and achieving financial and operational targets for the F&B department.
  • You monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing strategies to improve sales and profitability.
  • You foster a supportive and positive work environment that encourages team collaboration and growth.
  • You address and resolve any staff issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
  • You implement and maintain health and safety standards in all F&B operations.
  • You take an active role in daily F&B operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all outlets.
  • You oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • You ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • You promote effective communication and collaboration between F&B outlets and other hotel departments.
  • You participate in inter-departmental meetings and initiatives to align goals and improve overall guest experience.
  • You drive innovation and continuous improvement across all F&B services.
  • You enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of service, quality, and presentation.
  • You handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, understanding and anticipating their needs.

  • Experience in the F&B department. You have a solid previous experience as an F&B Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Leader. You have strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Customer oriented. Making people happy by delivering exceptional guest experiences is your priority.  You adapt to the changing needs of our guests.  Your goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Communication. You love being in contact with both clients and colleagues in English and French. Dutch and/or any other language is a plus.  You have excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexible. No 9-5 mentality. You adapt easily to people and situations and are willing to work during weekends and bank holidays.
  • Stress resistant.  You have the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
