CHANGE has an ambitious growth plan for the coming years where technology plays a key part in its success. eCommerce Tech is a newly created capability in our Global IT department. Right away you will be involved in building features, new integrations, and solving logical tasks of varying complexity related to all aspects of the eCommerce stack.


CHANGE has over the past 20 years developed a successful business. Developing, producing, and selling own lingerie and nightwear products in more than 300+ owned stores across 9 markets in Europe and Canada. CHANGE has decided to pursue a composable commerce architecture (following the MACH approach) as a foundation for supporting the company’s ambitious growth journey and delivering a superior digital customer experience that matches the offline in-store experience.


Best of breed cloud technologies
User experience, functionality, scalability, and a short time to market are some of the key features in our new technology stack. Our composable eCom infrastructure consists of 3 best of breed systems. The frontend is based on Next.js and uses Commercetools as commerce engine, Contentful as CMS and Relewise as recommendation and merchandising tool. The backend, which you will manage, is built on MS Azure Cloud Services. 


From day one, you will become a key partner in ensuring the continuous operation of the above-mentioned tech stack together with internal and external partners. You will be part of a team located in Farum that manages and continuously improves the frontend, omnichannel features, and the entire eCommerce tech stack in collaboration with our external partners.


You will work with the latest technologies following the MACH architecture principles, and you will have a voice in shaping the roadmap of additional state-of-the-art business IT systems moving forward. You will get the opportunity to dig into our entire solution and take ownership of the architecture, the quality, and its features. 


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 
-    I .NET Core/Framework: Proficiency in .NET Core and/or .NET Framework is essential, with a deep understanding of C# programming.
-    Azure Cloud Services: Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Configuration, and Azure Application Insights. Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure and Azure DevOps Pipeline (CI/CD) is also required.
-    Azure Function Apps Development: Experience in developing and deploying Azure Function Apps, particularly for creating middle-layer services, discount engines, search services, and payment services.
-    API Services (like CommerceTools): Knowledge of CommerceTools or similar platforms, including working with custom fields, product attributes, and understanding of CommerceTools Subscriptions for real-time event handling.
-    Payment Processing Integration: Experience with integrating payment gateways, specifically Adyen, including handling webhook notifications and updating order status based on payment events.
-    Define, develop, and maintain technical tests
-    Prepare technical documentation
-    Work closely with the Product Owner and the backend team to ensure consistent quality and coherence across the tech stack

Your profile
You are thinking creatively and can easily identify improvements and alternative solutions. You don’t need to have 10 years of experience, but we expect you to have a positive and service-minded attitude, take pride and ownership of your area of expertise, and bring a big load of passion for creating awesome user experiences. 
We expect that you have at least 2-3 years of hands-on developer experience with microservice-based or ‘composable commerce’ architecture.
Development-wise you will be working in a distributed team together with our external partners located in Denmark. You will have sparring with a highly creative and knowledgeable DevOps team within a global digital agency. You will be reporting to the e-commerce manager.
