Then Nordic Sugar may have the perfect opportunity for you as we now are looking for a project assistant for an exciting, large investment project involving conversion of our sugar house in Örtofta. 
The position 
You will be assisting in a large project and will interact with mainly internal stakeholders, locally and internationally to follow-up and ensure progress in accordance to plan for the allocated project. 
You will play a vital role in servicing and supporting the project manager. In the position you will work with a dynamic team in a high-paced working environment. 
The position is a temporary full time position for 36 months within Investment, Maintenance & Major Projects and is located in Arlöv, Sweden. You will report directly to the Project Manager also based in our Swedish office in Arlöv. 
As the project concerns Örtofta the majority of working time will be spent there.  Travel to our office in Copenhagen will be a natural part of the job as well. Occasional travel to northern Germany might be necessary as well. 
Area of responsibility: 
  • Internal project reporting, technical and commercial management of project plan 
  • Maintain the project momentum and drive work result and time plans  
  • Communication and perception of general administrative activities linked to the scope of the tasks 
  • You will be the link between project controller, local asset accounting and project manager 
  • Contract, deadline and cost control updating 
  • Tracking of procurement tenders, order acceptance, recording and controlling 


Candidate Profile  

You have a degree in economics or engineering sciences. It is a requirement that you have previous work experience from project management such as PMO or similar. You have worked with Office including Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint. It is an advantage if you have knowledge in handling ERP-systems, preferably SAP and Business Warehouse. You need to be fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish and it will be an advantage if you speak German. 
To be successful in this role you must have experience of project management processes and methods. You have excellent communication and presentation skills, you are service minded and you have the ability to build trustful relationships. You create clarity and structure for yourself and others and handle unclearness.  
To be able to solve complex tasks you need to have a structured approach and the ability to work independently. Keeping track of deadlines is vital to you.
