Sales and Operations Planning Manager

Are you ready to impact more than 100 million people’s health every year?

You will play a key role in ensuring the just-in-time assembly of medical kits containing a wide range of healthcare products sourced from global suppliers. As a pharmaceutical wholesaler, Missionpharma specialises in procuring, consolidating, and delivering medical supplies efficiently. 

We are looking for a Sales and Operations Planning Manager (S&OP Manager) to take the global responsibility for all processes around Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning. The position involves a high level of complexity, as it is essential to secure the timely availability of the correct inventory. By securing just-in-time procurement and kit assembly, you directly contribute to the delivery of vital medical supplies to underserved countries around the world.

You will be part of our global supply chain organisation with colleagues in Denmark and India. Your main responsibilities are to secure timely stock availability by planning and managing demand with supply. To strengthen our global S&OP processes, we are looking for a team player with a personal drive to join our team at the Danish headquarters in Lynge. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading our Global Sales & Operation Planning processes (from demand forecasting and inventory optimization to supply planning and capacity balancing)
  • Monitoring and managing global inventories, including daily operations, tools and process improvements
  • Ensuring accurate master data to support planning and procurement
  • Driving monthly demand planning and in collaboration with sales maintain forecasting tools and identify trends, gaps and supply risks
  • Developing reports, tools, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights into Sales & Operations Planning performance throughout the business
  • Creating scenario plans and risk assessments to evaluate supply chain strategies.

Further, you will be responsible for optimising inventory investments, ensuring the right balance between stock availability, delivery performance and responsiveness towards customer needs.

You will have broad internal contact across the organisation, including colleagues in Denmark, India and China.

Our expectations for you:
To succeed in this job, you must have a high level of business understanding and enjoy leading and engaging in proactive stakeholder management. 

You have an educational background within Supply Chain, Logistics or similar coupled with 3-5 years of experience from an international company. With this experience you now understand supply chain planning processes and supporting concepts like forecasting, safety stock, and inventory parameters.

Furthermore, you possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and enjoy working with complex data
  • Confident in Excel and familiar with BI tools such as Power BI
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics365)
  • Communicate clearly and can explain complex topics to colleagues across the business
  • Proactive and structures in your way of working and have a high degree of attention to detail
