The Role: Build What Drives Us
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play akey role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that drive the Mestro platform. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and frontend teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.

Beyond  hands-on development, you will conduct code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and mentor junior developers - helping them grow into confident, capable engineers.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Mestro platform.
• Participate in making key architectural and technical decisions.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Azure and Kubernetes environments.
• Review and optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.

Your Profile: Code, Collaborate and Inspire
You are a structured and experienced backend engineer who thrives in a collaborative,  fast-paced  environment. You take pride in clean, efficient code and you enjoy helping others succeed.

• To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring the following competences:6–8 years of professional experience in system development.
• Strong expertise in Java, MS SQL, and Azure.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes - both deployment and cluster administration.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software architecture.
• Experience conducting and leading code reviews.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring junior developers. 
• In addition, we value candidates who bring the following qualifications: Experience with microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Background in energy management or data analytics domains is a plus.
