EG Housing is the market leader in software for property administration in Denmark, and our dedicated team consists of more than 70 colleagues across three Danish locations, as well as colleagues in India and Poland. We develop software solutions for both private landlords and public housing associations. Our customers include the largest players in the market, and the customer base is continuously growing.

EG Bolig is our core system and the market leader within housing administration. EG Bolig consists of three software teams in Aarhus and one team in India. EG Bolig is characterized by close collaboration with our customers, including several of the major actors in the industry.

Your Role: Hands-on developer and process lead

As a Product Engineer, you will work in a hybrid team with colleagues across multiple locations. Your primary focus will be on driving the daily development process together with the team, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software that supports our customers’ core business.

As a part of your senior role, you will act as process lead in the team ensuring the daily progress in the team and participating in customer classification, refinement and other processes related to the development process. You will be both hands-on and orchestrator in the daily process.

“Software development is a team sport, and as a Product Engineer you play a crucial role on the team, where you must juggle many moving parts – and have strong insight into both software development and property administration,” says your future colleague Senior Vice President Martin Holmgaard.

You will act as the natural link between the development team and Product Management, handling the daily planning and prioritization of development tasks in the self-managing team and ensuring, together with the team, that we continuously deliver quality to our customers.

Your key responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development process in the team (planning, daily, review, retrospective)
• Contribute to technical discussions
• Collaborate closely with Product management and your colleagues on both design and tech.
• Develop and maintain features in EG Bolig with high code quality
• Support continuous improvement of team processes, collaboration, and delivery flow
• Contribute to alignment and knowledge sharing across teams when needed

Your Profile: Skilled developer with good communication skills

The ideal candidate has solid proven experience as a senior software developer
— ideally with knowledge of housing administration or enterprise solutions, but this is not a requirement.

Ideally, you bring:

• Proven experience as (senior) software developer.
• Strong experience in modern software development practices.
• Experience in C# and/or Angualar is an advantage.
• Good understanding of software quality, testing, and scalable architectures.
• Experience with agile development.
• Interest in (or experience with) facilitating team processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in both Danish and English (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement for this position.

The most important part is that you both bring strong software skills and are motivated to take responsibility for team flow and work processes alongside your development role.
