As part of this, we have high compliance ambitions including obtaining ISO certifications across selected lines of business, and you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth implementation and successful achievement of the first round of certifications. Going forward, you will contribute to continuously improving ways of working and supporting the organisation’s maturity in this area.

You will work at the intersection of compliance and business, with multiple touchpoints across the organisation.

As Part of the Department

Group Legal & Compliance is divided into two teams. You will be part of the Compliance, Governance and M&A team, whose task is to ensure value-adding legal advice and a high level of compliance in a fast-growing software company.

Group Legal & Compliance consists of 16 full-time lawyers with extensive experience in, among other areas, IT law, data protection law, public procurement law, M&A and corporate governance.

This provides strong opportunities for professional sparring within those fields, and we also place great importance on team spirit and a good sense of humor. Group Legal & Compliance is part of Shared Services, which works across EG and supports the business within multiple areas and across all the Nordics and India.

Your Role: Deliver, Drive, and Elevate Compliance and ISO Practices

You will be responsible for ISO within selected lines of business and provide and receive sparring within this field and drive the ISO agenda across EG.

In addition, you will focus on compliance and governance-related matters, including:  

• Together with the rest of the team, organize and drive the Compliance Framework.
• Draft, implement and update internal policies, procedures and risk assessments in relation to GDPR, NIS2, the AI Act, and related IT regulations.
• Conduct internal audits.
• Run awareness campaigns on new legislation and new internal policies.
• Analyze and assess new requirements/legislation, including ISO, standards like ISO, cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence.

You will collaborate closely with our Cybersecurity team and Group Legal & Compliance colleagues and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across EG as well as externally with customers.

Your Profile: A Driven Compliance Professional with ISO experience

 We are looking for commercially minded and structured colleague with experience in the ISO field (e.g., 9001, 14001, 27001, 27701) either as consultant / ISO auditor or from working inhouse in an ISO certified business.

• Have specialized yourself within governance and compliance.
• Have a genuine interest and experience (not mandatory) in tech and tech companies.
• Work in a structured manner and have experience in operationalizing complex legislation.
• Have experience in stakeholder management across levels in the organization and stakeholder with different backgrounds (tech, IT, finance, legal etc.).

Your educational background is not predestined, but you can have a university degree within law, business law and IT, but the most important matter is that you have experience with the compliance and ISO field and have experience in working with / in a legal department.
