LIMS Specialist for AJ Vaccines

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced new colleague to join our team as a LIMS Specialist at AJ Vaccines. As a LIMS Specialist, you will play a central role in our mission to save lives worldwide by establishing a robust IT system and ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory requirements.

Team responsibilities and ambitions 
You will be a key member of our LIMS Implementation Project Group, reporting directly to the Head of QC-SAM (Sample Management). We’re implementing LabVantage as our LIMS system, and you will work closely with the LIMS team to design, develop, and implement our new LIMS system. The project management team also includes a LIMS Architect who will provide guidance and support throughout the project.  

Our ambition is to establish a robust and scalable LIMS system that will streamline our laboratory processes, improve data quality, and enhance regulatory compliance. We are committed to delivering an IT solution that will support our growth and success. 

Your work tasks 
You will be responsible for implementing and supporting the design of our LIMS system, by creating and maintaining the Master data that forms the backbone of our LIMS, that aligns with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. 

Together with the project team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Support, design and implement LIMS modules 
  • Create and maintain LIMS Master data such as test methods, sample types, instruments, users, and equipment 
  • Create and maintain the end-to-end flow of QC methods in LIMS 
  • Conducting quality checks 
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the Master data is complete, accurate, and meets the needs of the users 
  • Document LIMS procedures  
  • Train end users 

Who are you?  
We see our future LIMS Specialist as a highly motivated, proactive individual with an academic background and hands-on experience in LIMS systems. You should also have a strong understanding of data integrity and quality control procedures and be able to work independently or as part of a team. 


  • Prior hands-on experience with LIMS, preferably as a Master data/Static data builder 
  • ​​​​​​​Proficiency in front-end LIMS 
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Display fluency in both written and spoken English and Danish 
  • ​​​​​​​Hold at least a bachelor's degree in IT, Natural Science, Engineering or a related field  

Nice-to-have experiences would be: 

  • LabVantage experience 
  • Knowledge of qualification of equipment and analytical methods 
  • ​​​​​​​Familiarity with other laboratory software applications

  • Able to troubleshoot complex problems 
  • Can clarify complex issues and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • ​​​​​​​Able to make decisions under pressure
