Then we may have the right position for you as Team Leader for a unit that performs Quality Control (QC) of Water systems (WFI, Steam, demineralized and tap water).

The team responsibilities and ambitions
QC WAT is responsible for sampling and analysis of water systems used during our aseptic production areas and contributes significantly to preventing unwanted microbiological contamination of our products. We primarily work according to Ph.Eur. and USP, and we perform many different analyses and use various techniques such as TOC in ppb and ppm, Conductivity, Bioburden, LAL (endotoxin), and Nitrate. In QC WAT we use LIMS, and your role will be to support the team with fully implementing LIMS and share knowledge across AJ Vaccine.

QC WAT consists of experienced staff, 3 technicians and 3 academics, closely associated with our QC Microbiology unit (MIC). The unit is one of 9 units in the QC Department of approx. 110 employees. You will also be part of the QC MIC Management team.

Your work tasks
As a Team Leader for QC WAT you must ensure an attractive workplace for your employees by maintaining a collaborative and developing environment. Your focus should be to improve and ensure continuous compliance with GMP regulations as well as meeting agreed deadlines for daily tasks within the unit.

You will have a broad collaboration with stakeholders from other departments, e.g. Value Chain, Productions and QA.

As part of the Management team in QC MIC you will participate in creating the department strategy, setting goals and help ensure that the department meets its obligations and goals.

Who are you?
We expect that you hold a Master degree within life science and that you have experience from working within a highly regulated workplace as the Pharmaceutical industry. It would be an advantage if you have some management experience but it is not a requirement.

It will be highly valued if you have had experience from QC and LIMS as supporting QC WATs transition into a full blown LIMS Team is essential.

Your experience should have shown that you can motivate employees to perform efficiently while ensuring an attractive working environment. You must be visible and empathetic in your management style and you should be passionate about and give yourself time to manage employees.

It is important that you as a person are structured and quickly get a grip of things and create an overview. You stay calm in pressured situations and can prioritize and make quick decisions.

Lastly, you should be able to communicate fluently in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
