Regional Export Manager (REM), Europe
For the Ingredients division at Harboes Brewery
Besides the traditional product range of beverages, Harboes are also an ingredients business, developing and producing a wide range of malt-based innovative ingredients marketed towards the international food and beverage industry. Harboe Ingredients is growing year by year, and we are now looking to improve our sales organization further.
Therefore we are looking for a Regional Export Manager for sales of functional malt based food ingredients, to selected B-to-B food customers – in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. The new Regional Export Manager will report to the Head of Global Sales – Harboe Ingredients. 
The Regional Export Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of a regional growth sales strategy including existing and new potential customers, - in corporation with the Global Sales Manager. The Regional Export Manager is responsible for the development of sales accounts in order to achieve the Business Plan and budget targets. The Regional Export Manager is the link between customers, supply chain, QA/QC, other parts of the sales and marketing organization, responsible for the carefully defined regional customers, project management, products/concepts and implementation of the aligned strategy. 
Key Performance Indicators: 
  • Development of: market strategy, detailed customer strategy and communication strategy 
  • Sales development: responsibility for the relevant customers/markets  
  • Identification and qualification of profitable markets and customer opportunities   
  • Generating sales contribution and growth from the area of responsibility  
  • Development of high value-added business in the area of responsibility  
  • Development of strong relationships with customers  
  • Persistent and goal oriented 
It’s essential that candidates for this position, comes from either the baking industry or has experience selling directly to the baking industry. A background as a baker is an extra plus. It’s important to be able speak and write English. Danish skills are not required.  
The future REM can work from a home-base anywhere in Europe and visit our headquarter in Skælskør typically once a month.

A person who thrives in the long-term work of qualifying and pursuing potential clients. Who works well with others and rest calmly in working independently. A person who takes their own responsibility seriously.
