Team Manager HTC

Our goal is clear: We want to be the best in the Netherlands at technical communication, and to get there, we need a team manager who is ready to take responsibility, initiative and drive a part the business.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a team manager, you will have the opportunity to develop together with your team. You will lead a team consisting about 15 technical communicators. Experience in managing a team will be highly valued, but the most important thing is that you are ready to shape and develop our business and your team, and that you have the ability to inspire and motivate your colleagues.

You will be part of our of department management team at HTC. We are a collaborative and supportive group of people who help each other deal with the challenges and opportunities that a team managers faces. Your working week will vary as you shape your role, but a constant in your day-to-day work is your commitment to both customers and employees. HR and engagement with your customers will also be a central part of your role. You are responsible for the results of your team like invoice rate, recruitment and of course employee satisfaction.

Your team

Your team works either on assignment with our customers or in-house. In the team, you mainly have technical writers, illustrators and visual designers, but you always have access to more experts and project managers from the other teams/departments within Technical Communication Solutions. It will be up to you to shape your team and its composition.

Your Profile

We expect you to have a college education and appreciate if you have relevant experience in the technical/product information or consulting world. In addition to English, our wish is you can also communicate in Dutch, both orally and in writing. Selection take place on an ongoing basis. Assessment by an external partner as well as preparation and presentation of a fictive case during the interview, will be part of the recruitment process.
