Department Manager HTC

Our goal is clear: We want to be the best at Technical Communication, there for we need a department manager who is ready to take initiative and drive growth.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a department manager, you will have the opportunity to develop together with your team. You will lead a department consisting of about 50 Technical Writers. Our consultants work either on assignment with our customers or in-house, and you always have access to more experts from other departments within Technical Communication Solutions.

Experience in leadership is needed, but the most important thing is that you are ready to shape and develop our business and your team, and that you have the ability to inspire and motivate your colleagues.

You will be part of our Dutch TCS management team with managers from all our 3 departments. Openness, Collaboration, and Support are important characteristics to help each other deal with the challenges and opportunities that we face. Your working week will vary as you shape your role, but a constant in your day-to-day work is your commitment to both customers and employees. Recruitment and sales will also be a central part of your role, and you will gradually expand your network. You are responsible for the budget and results of your department.

Your Profile

We expect you to have a college or university education and appreciate if you have relevant experience in the technical/product information or consulting world. In addition to English, you can also communicate fluently in Dutch, both orally and in writing. Selection take place on an ongoing basis. Assessment by an external partner as well as preparation and presentation of a fictive case during the interview, will be part of the recruitment process.
