What are you going to do?
- Lead the development and refinement of high-quality technical documentation, including manuals, user guides, and online content.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into concise and comprehensible textual content.
- Manage the maintenance and regular updates of existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance in a dynamic environment.
- Uphold and enforce high documentation standards and guidelines, maintaining consistency and quality across all materials.
- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate user feedback and drive continuous improvements to enhance the overall user experience, focusing on clarity and effectiveness.
Where are you going to work?
As a Senior Technical Writer at Etteplan, you'll engage with prominent, often international clients. Your role involves collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams, providing you with significant autonomy. Projects are conducted partly at our offices in the Netherlands, partly remotely, and occasionally on-site at client locations, reflecting our commitment to workplace flexibility. You'll be part of a community of approximately 60 technical writers at Etteplan, ensuring constant opportunities for collaboration, idea exchange, and support. Additionally, regular communication with your project leader or manager ensures effective collaboration.

What do we ask?
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Writer in a technical environment.
- Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at client premises, with a driving license considered highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with documentation and publishing tools, along with the ability to effectively work with diverse software packages.
