What will you do?  

Lead the design and development of high-quality technical documentation, including manuals, user guides and online content; 

Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex concepts into clear and concise text; 

Maintain and update existing documentation; 

Monitor and enforce documentation standards and guidelines; 

Analysing user feedback and making improvements to optimise user experience. 

Where will you work?  

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be working for leading, often international organisations. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams with a high degree of independence. Projects are carried out partly at one of our offices in the Netherlands, partly at home and on location at the client's premises. Flexible workplaces and remote working are very common and that includes flexible working hours. Within Etteplan, you are never alone. Together with about 60 other technical writers, there is always an opportunity to spar or exchange ideas. In addition, you report weekly to your project leader or project manager.

What do we ask?  

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Writer in a technical environment; 

Excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing; command of the Dutch language is a plus;  

Willingness to travel and work at your client's premises. Possession of a driving licence is very useful;  

Knowledge of documentation and publishing tools and able to work well with various software packages.
