Sourcing

At BoConcept we are looking for a new colleague to join our purchase team, who can assume the role of an analytical and detail-oriented strategic Purchasing coordinator with an interest in sustainability.

Your focus will be on selecting data for fact-driven decisions for you and your colleagues to optimize procurement in BoConcept. Combined with your interest in working with, and maintaining sustainability related tasks, you will be a part of a small and dedicated strategic purchasing team.

Procurement
At BoConcept we aim to optimize our procurement, to always have the facts in place before decisions are made. Your role will involve providing data and engaging in dialogue with suppliers, without direct involvement in operational order handling. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing sales figures and prices.
  • Stakeholder on benchmarking projects.
  • Monitoring and managing product lifecycle (PLC) for discontinued products.
  • Updating prices in the ERP system.
  • Monitoring and reporting on raw material indexes.
  • External inventory monitoring.

Compliance
BoConcept is committed to advancing our sustainability journey, and your role will involve ensuring compliance with sustainability and operational purchasing-related demands. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing purchase-related sustainability and compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining FSC certification.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on carbon footprint registration and CO2 data selection. (scope 3)
  • Contributing to optimizing packaging materials to reduce carbon footprint.

Your primary workplace will be at our location in Ølgod, where you will collaborate with a small but highly competent procurement team. This role entails interfacing broadly both internally and with suppliers.

Your Background
We are seeking a colleague with experience from a purchasing position and a trading background. Additionally, experience in working with data and analytics is preferred. We value individuals who are motivated to ensure data validity in the context of the green transition, with a willingness to learn or existing skills in sustainable principles and practices.

As a person, you work independently with a keen sense of purchasing and production flow. You approach information and data in a structured and systematic manner and are comfortable handling large datasets. While decision-making relies on facts and validity, you also possess intuition and an understanding of contextual factors.

Fluency in Danish and English, both orally and in writing, is expected. Knowledge of Dynamics D365 or other ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills, would be advantageous.
