We are looking for a dedicated Manager for our Global Maintenance and Metrology team who shares our passion, drive, and energy to make a difference. You will be joining a team of highly skilled and experienced colleagues at our site in Kvistgaard. The Team currently consists of 4 Engineers and the team is filled with humor and where quality and customer care are paramount. Our department is responsible for the global governance structure for Maintenance and Metrology and is part of the Global Engineering Organization. We also support the daily operations, performing troubleshooting, and solving issues within the area of Instrumentation, Metrology, Control Systems, and Maintenance when needed. The department plays a vital role in the strategy execution, from participating in the early CAPEX project design phase to the implementation and following going into operation within Utility, HVAC, Automation, etc.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage the team of Engineers to support Maintenance and Metrology strategies
- Setting strategic direction for Metrology and Maintenance across Bavarian Nordic
- Project manager for the upgrade of current and new Metrology and Maintenance systems
- Continuous system improvement
- Participate in CAPEX project as Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness of the Metrology and Maintenance system
- Provide support & training for users
- Provide document investigation in case of system breakdowns
- Contribute to quality documentation as required (Changes, FMEA, CAPA, Deviations)
You will act as a partner in our manufacturing departments to ensure we have a common understanding of the technical activities that impact equipment efficiency.
Your profile
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent background
- Experience with People leadership or Project management
- Used to work in a highly regulated area with high standards & focus on quality.
- Experience with Metrology and Maintenance management
- Good at planning, coordinating, and executing activities
- You have cooperation skills and can make decisions
- You work systematically and are at the same time capable of handling a dynamic environment without losing the overview
- Good communication skills – including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English
- As a person, you are a positive and proactive team player. When you are faced with challenges and unpredictability you have a solution-oriented, curious, and can-do attitude
