Are you passionate about applying AI to real business challenges and turning advanced technology into practical, scalable solutions?
At Aasted, you will play a key role in shaping how artificial intelligence supports our business processes, decision-making, and ways of working across the organisation.
As our AI Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between business needs, data, and modern AI technologies. You will work hands-on with AI solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders across engineering, service, sales, and IT to ensure that AI delivers measurable value and supports both daily operations and long-term strategic ambitions.
About the position
This role is positioned at the intersection of AI technology, business processes, and digital systems, with a direct impact on how automation, insights, and decision support are embedded into Aasted’s workflows.
We are looking for an AI Specialist to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions during a period of increasing digital maturity and ambition. The role focuses on transforming unstructured information into actionable outputs, integrating AI with existing enterprise systems, and ensuring that AI solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
The position combines hands-on technical work with close collaboration across the business. You will be involved from early idea and prioritisation through development, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI solutions. At the same time, you will help stakeholders define success criteria, assess business value, and ensure that AI initiatives are aligned with governance, security, and operational realities.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive AI projects end-to-end (from idea to production)
- Build and maintain AI automation workflows that convert unstructured inputs (emails, PDFs, reports, notes) into reports or actions
- Design end-to-end flows: collect - read - improve - prioritize - send - report
- Develop and deploy AI solutions using LLMs and open-source/Hugging Face models
- Integrate AI with internal systems (e.g. SharePoint/Teams/CPQ/ERP) via APIs and data pipelines
- Ensure secure-by-design AI in collaboration with cyber security (data privacy, access control, audit logs, risk mitigation)
- Monitor and improve deployed solutions (quality evaluation, error handling, cost/latency optimization)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (service, sales, engineering) to translate needs into scalable tools
Required qualifications:
- Understand business needs and translate them into solutions with measurable value
- Support stakeholders in defining success criteria and ROI for AI initiatives
- Assess and prioritize AI projects based on business cases (impact, cost, risk, feasibility)
- Ability to collaborate with cyber security teams
- Strong Python skills and software engineering mindset
- Proven experience delivering production systems
- Experience with LLM-based solutions:
- Structured output (JSON)
- Prompt templates
- Evaluation and quality control
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Familiarity with open-source AI / Hugging Face ecosystem
- Solid understanding of integration: REST APIs, SQL databases, authentication/authorization
About you
You are comfortable working in a role that combines hands-on AI development with continuous improvement of business processes and ways of working. You take a structured and pragmatic approach to your tasks, balancing technical depth with a clear focus on business value. You are motivated by turning data and unstructured information into insights, automation, and scalable solutions, and you thrive in environments where AI solutions, processes, and governance are still evolving. You collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you are proactive, reliable, and self-driven, able to drive change while ensuring stable and trustworthy AI solutions in daily operations.
Professional qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working with software, data, or AI-driven solutions in an industrial, manufacturing, or enterprise environment
- Experience developing and deploying AI, automation, or data-driven solutions into production environments
- Solid understanding of data structures, data quality, and information flows across enterprise systems
- Experience working with system integration in a business context, including collaboration with IT and cyber security teams
- Experience translating business and user needs into concrete technical solutions and implementation considerations
- Familiarity with operating AI solutions in environments with governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT, and technical specialists
- Professional working proficiency in English and Danish, written and spoken
