Do you enjoy understanding what drives trading performance and making sure the numbers behind it can be trusted?
At Mind Energy, Trading Middle Office sits close to the trading business. As Senior Trading Risk & Performance Analyst, you connect trading activity with performance reporting, risk oversight and operational control.
You engage directly with traders and stakeholders to understand positions, strategies and market drivers. Using that insight, you challenge data, explain PnL movements and ensure risk figures are accurate, transparent and actionable. At the same time, you help strengthen the processes, controls and reporting that support a robust and scalable Trading Middle Office setup.
DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE
You work at the intersection of trading, risk and performance, where reliable data and strong controls create the foundation for sound decisions.
By understanding trading activity, market drivers and risk exposures, you help ensure that performance and risk reporting accurately reflect what is happening in the business. Alongside the daily reporting and control activities, you contribute to improving the processes and tools that support them.
Your mission is to:
-
Drive improvements to reporting, controls, and operational processes, with a focus on quality, transparency, and efficiency
JOIN A TEAM OF MINDFUL ACHIEVERS
You’ll join our Trading Middle Office team, part of Risk Management, where trading performance, risk oversight and operational control come together.
The team is newly established and consists of four professionals with backgrounds spanning finance, economics, and risk. Together, we are building a strong foundation for how trading performance and risk are monitored, understood, and communicated across the business.
You’ll work closely with traders, risk specialists, and finance colleagues, gaining insight into the positions, strategies, and market dynamics that drive our results. The role offers a unique combination of analytical depth, business exposure, and the opportunity to influence how we develop our reporting, controls, and ways of working.
LET’S SWITCH THE FOCUS TO YOU
You succeed in this role because you care about accuracy, enjoy digging into discrepancies, and follow things through until they make sense. You understand how strong controls, reliable data, and business insight connect.
We imagine that you bring:
You work well across teams, share your knowledge and use your experience to move tasks and improvements forward.
Experience from energy markets is a plus, but not a requirement.
This role is based in Aarhus, where being close to the trading business and your stakeholders creates the best foundation for success. It is possible to work from home 1–2 days per week, in agreement with your manager and the team's tasks.
WE MIGHT BE BIASED, BUT IT IS QUITE AWESOME HERE
People here care about doing things well and creating a place people genuinely enjoy being part of. We like to hack the everyday, from breakfast and lunch made in-house with organic ingredients to in-house massage, something in the freezer when the day runs late and the occasional “Just Because” surprise. You also get five Switch Days, equal to a seventh holiday week, giving you extra flexibility and room to recharge throughout the year.
Through Mind Club, people come together around everything from padel and Football Shirt Fridays to clay pigeon shooting and our Christmas family day. And with Mind Academy, you grow alongside sharp and curious colleagues who challenge ideas, share knowledge and help each other level up. These are just some of the things that make us special. It’s easier to experience in person.
We’re mindful achievers. It shapes how we work, think and grow together, while recognising that well-being, care and integrity matter just as much as the results we create. This is a place to focus, grow and achieve more.
