Sales Manager - Sensor

Your role:

We work to make sustainability profitable and, ultimately, to create a world powered primarily by renewable energy. Your role will contribute to this mission by growing our business in China and strengthening our Sales team in the country. With reference to the Head of Business Development Asia, your key tasks will be to introduce and sell Polytech’s solution portfolio to existing and new clients in China.


Your main tasks and deliverables will be:

  • Mainly focus on sensor business. Primary goal is to grow sensor business in China wind power market.
  • Implement sales strategy and ensure the company meets revenue objectives through developing new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Approach to target group of customers via emails and phone calls to schedule appointments to meet the requirements of the customer.
  • Identify customer’s needs by providing technical solutions resulting in sales opportunities in order to maximize and grow sales.
  • Responsible for customer relationship / partnership and on-time payments.
  • Prepare annual customer plans and sales strategy forecast.
  • Manage sales lead follow up.
  • Be able to work with other departments for continuous improvement process.
  • Visiting and attending industry fairs and be able to understand industry technology trends.
  • Get sales forecasts and the information of the customer demands updates.
  • Support Customer Service as needed.
  • Other tasks assigned by Head of Business Development Asia.


Your qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably from the wind industry and international companies
  • High proficiency both in Chinese and English (spoken and written)
  • Efficient team player with an ability to collaborate across departments and improving processes
  • Effective communicator
  • Ability to understand technological trends and solutions in the wind industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

You put the customer in focus, understand their needs, and provide solutions accordingly in a convincing manner with a high degree of technical accuracy.
