Technical Sales Manager – Blade Monitoring & Optimization

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Sales Manager to drive solution offerings within Blade Monitoring & Optimization.

About the position

As our new Technical Sales Manager, your primary focus will be to support and expand Polytech’s business within blade monitoring and optimization solutions for the global wind turbine industry. You will serve as the key technical bridge between Customers and Polytech and drive customer projects across Sales, R&D and Operations, ensuring strong alignment throughout the sales cycle.

In this role, you will develop and deliver technical proposals, support customer-specific product configurations, and strengthen Polytech’s position in the market through technical insight, curiosity and building a broad industry network. You will collaborate across Polytech’s global organization and with approximately 50 travel days per year.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Serving our Customers and the organization with relevant technical insight, alignment and clarifications
  • Leading both the sales process from lead generation to order and the project management from order to cash. Ownership on the full customer journey.  
  • Provide solutions and customer service in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Providing technical and commercial support at all stages of the sales process, including preparing technical proposals and clarifications
  • Expanding the customer portfolio through networking and leads
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the wind industry
  • Develop technical business proposals, presentations and solution concepts
  • Create and maintain customer‑specific product configurations together with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Analyze technical market trends, customer needs, and technology developments, and provide strategic recommendations

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or other relevant technical discipline
  • Proven success in technical sales, ideally within condition monitoring, sensors, electronics and/or wind turbine technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of wind turbines and turbine blades is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 40-50 days/year).
