This is the position

The Vice President of Customer and Global Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and executing Flying Tiger Copenhagen's Marketing Strategy, steering a team responsible for generating incremental and exponential results through generating traffic, increasing brand awareness, customer base, and customer life-time value as well as fostering a customercentric culture. This newly created role will be responsible for spearheading the transformation of the marketing department into a results-driven powerhouse, focusing on boosting traffic and transactions to fuel business growth and revenue generation, while simultaneously capitalising on our valuable customer base asset to deliver personalised experiences and foster customer engagement. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, market research, marketing strategy, and data science, combined with exceptional leadership, communication skills, and senior stakeholder managemen

 

Overall Goals

The objective is to transition the Marketing Department into an investment business unit, prioritizing critical outcomes such as reach, awareness, traffic, and transactions. The focus includes improving brand awareness, driving omnichannel traffic and top-line growth, optimizing marketing return on investment, and nurturing a customer-centric culture. Additionally, there is a plan to establish a Marketing Automation Engine to elevate customer engagement through personalized experiences with the aim of increasing customer lifetime value. To achieve these goals, leadership will involve guiding, inspiring, and developing a team of around 20 HQ marketing professionals, which includes 4 direct reports, as well as managing 6-8 Local Marketing Offices. The overarching approach is to foster an innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented environment within the team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation of the marketing department into a results-driven powerhouse encompassing:
    • Establishing and promoting brand awareness across multiple countries
    • Implementing marketing automation to expand and engage our customer base effectively
  • Develop the Global Marketing Strategy:
    • Campaign strategy, execution, and planning
    • Local & Global alignment of campaign execution
    • Track and Measure Marketing Investment Results.
  • Define and lead an integrated strategy across all marketing channels; integrating our online (SEM, SEO, Mobile, Display, Email, and Social Media), as well as offline.
  • Promote data best practices and play an essential role in cultivating a data-driven culture throughout the entire organisation, making analytical methods accessible and comprehensible to non-data people.
  • Collaborate with the technology leadership team to establish a long-term vision and formulate a roadmap for data science initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and executives across product, engineering, commercial, finance, and marketing to set and achieve business objectives while developing data-informed strategies and roadmaps.
  • Identify ways to utilise data science, machine learning, and analytics for enhancing product features and capabilities. Lead efforts to leverage data and expertise to enrich customer experience.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, market research, marketing strategy, and data science
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Natural ability to collaborate cross-functionally and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • High ethical standards and respect towards values and opinions – is ambitious and passionate about his/her work and thrives with challenges
