We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to own Continia Document Capture and drive it into the next generation of intelligent AP automation. You have a deep understanding of real Accounts Payable workflows and a genuine drive to use AI to eliminate manual work, reduce friction, and create experiences that make complex AP processes feel effortless.
About the role
Continia Document Capture is the leading AP automation solution built natively for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It covers the full AP flow, from invoice capture and data extraction through approval workflows to ERP posting and archiving, serving thousands of companies.
We are actively building AI into the core of the product, with the ambition of making AP teams focus on judgement rather than administration. Think automatic GL coding based on posting history, intelligent PO matching that handles the routine three-way match without anyone touching it, smarter vendor onboarding where every invoice processed makes the next one easier, and a user experience that surfaces exceptions proactively rather than waiting for someone to go looking. These are the kinds of problems you will be solving, and there are plenty more where they came from.
This is a hands-on role. You will drive product discovery, define exactly what we build, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering to turn complex challenges into elegant solutions. You will work closely with customers, partners, and colleagues across the world to deeply understand complex Accounts Payable processes and turn that insight into features that are both powerful and easy to use.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a dedicated product team of 7-8 people to deliver high-quality Account Payable solutions.
- Drive the product roadmap, using AI to remove manual steps and improve the user experience, while continuously extending functionality to support the growth of the business.
- Champion smarter UX by reducing the number of steps users need to take, providing contextual guidance, and building an experience that feels intuitive even for occasional users.
- Stay aligned with Microsoft's Copilot and Business Central direction, shaping how Document Capture evolves with the platform.
- Translate Agent and LLM or LM capabilities into concrete, production-ready features that are always grounded in real use case value.
- Own the daily backlog, make practical trade-offs, and ensure engineering always has the context to build the right thing.
- Talk to customers, partners, and resellers continuously to validate features and stay close to what AP teams actually need.
- Own product quality by participating in testing and validation before release.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong product management experience in ERP software. Business Central knowledge is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to lead a high-performing product team, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.
- Deep understanding of AP flows including capture, coding, approval, posting, reconciliation, and archiving, with a clear sense of where the real friction lives.
- An innovative mindset. You think about how to automate the next manual step, reduce cognitive load, and make the UX smarter rather than just improving recognition accuracy.
- Familiarity with LLMs, ML-based extraction, and AI-assisted UX patterns, with the ability to define realistic requirements and balance automation confidence with user control.
- Awareness of Microsoft's BC and Copilot ecosystem, with the ability to align product strategy with platform direction.
- A natural collaborator and strong communicator, confident in aligning internal teams and engaging directly with external partners, and customers.
