2024/06 Clinical Midwife Specialist/Senior Radiographer, Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Permanent Full Time

 

The Ultrasound service is part of a dynamic and growing health care facility catering for the health needs of women at all stages during pregnancy and the postnatal period in addition to gynaecological assessment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife or be eligible for registration with NMBI
  • Registered Radiographer/Sonographer or eligible for registration with CORU with diploma in obstetric ultrasound
  • Hold a post-Graduate qualification in Ultrasound or other relevant diploma or be committed to undertake such studies within 3 years
  • Post-registration five years’ experience
  • A minimum of 3 years (recent) experience in obstetrics/gynecology ultrasound

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrable experience at managing a team and workload
  • Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development, training and research
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience of working in various models of midwifery care
  • Mentorship /Preceptorship training
