Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist (Skype Telephony), Gdynia

Location: Gdynia
 
As Skype Telephony expert, you will be the key persons to drive Nordea’s telephony platform into the future. Therefore you need to have a proven technical knowledge around telephony, Microsoft latest technologies and strong communication skills.

The position we offer

The Unified Communication team takes a key role in Nordea’s real time communication. We have end to end service responsibility to ensure the best customer experience regarding video and voice traffic. 
 
Nordea have a Skype platform with 32000 end-users and Skype as the core telephony platform for 28000 employs in the Nordics.  
 
Nordea has several supporting systems as: 
Nordic Skype Switch board, Voice Recording and over 7000 agents in different response groups.   
 
We design the services which are aligned with group information security policies and compliance requirements. 
 
The team is a multinational team, located in Denmark, Finland, Poland and Sweden.  
 
It’s responsible to 
  • Define the unified communication strategy 
  • Follow and apply strategic decisions made by the product vendors 
  • Design the next generation platforms according to compliance, quality and technical standards 
  • Proactively work together with business stakeholders to enable end-users to use the services optimally 
  • Track latest markets activities and recommend necessary initiatives based on it 
  • Recommend and implement small value adding improvement’s 

The qualifications you need

Proven, technical knowledge around telephony, the latest Microsoft technologies and strong communication skills.
 
You have in-depth skills in: 
  • Skype for Business 
  • Firewall and Network dependence on voice traffic 
  • AudioCodesSBC 
  • Design and test of voice traffic  
  • Requirements on external telco vendors 
  • Legal requirements for voice traffic    
 
Certifications 
  • MCSE: Communication 
As Skype Telephony expert, you will be among the key persons to drive Nordea’s telephony platform into the future. Therefore, proven experience with large Lync / Skype installation is required. 
 
You have driver abilities, with strong capability of multitasking and energising and lots of positive energy and engagement  
 
You have strong ability to communicate with stakeholders. 
 
You are focused and service minded and capable of quickly understanding new systems and business areas.  
 
You attain and maintain high performance and are a team player.  
 
You speak fully fluent English.
