IT Infrastructure Project Manager, Gdynia

We are searching for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team of professionals located in Gdynia, working in multinational, large scale IT infrastructure projects.  
We see it as our foremost duty to maintain and continuously improve existing infrastructure in Nordea. Our mission is to provide stable, secure, cost effective, timely and flexible shared IT infrastructure, adding value to Nordea's competitive advantage.

The scope of responsibilities assigned to the position: 
  • IT infrastructure and integration project delivery 
  • Planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects  
  • Creating and managing project budgets  
  • Performing quality assurance and risk management 
  • Tracking progress of tasks against agreed estimates 
  • Leading and managing virtual project teams (certain amount of traveling abroad might be required)  
  • Engaging with stakeholders and managing internal/external relationships  
  • Conducting status review meetings with team members and stakeholders  
  • Providing reports and documentation on project stage and progress  

The qualifications you need

We expect from the candidate:  
  • At least five years project management experience in IT  
  • Solid IT Infrastructure technical background 
  • Knowledge of industry standards in information technology  
  • Professional level of spoken and written English  
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, respecting cultural differences  
  • Solid stakeholder management skills with a consultative approach  
  • A bachelor's degree or similar is preferred 
  • PM background education and certification is an advantage
