Team lead for Test Environment Operation at Nordea zOS Mainframe, Gdynia

Production Engineering Mainframe provides the mainframe platform with the common infrastructure, tools, standards and support for application development, test environments and Batch Management on the IBM Mainframe and HP NonStop.

The position we offer

You will be the team lead for specialists working in the Mainframe Batch Management Area supporting Nordea. You will be responsible for the team in Poland.  
We expect that you will be able to participate in the daily work tasks beside your people management tasks.  
You will in in consultation with projects and developers plan and decide implementation and maintain Batch in the test environments in an efficient and high quality way.  
You will be a part of the Production Engineering Mainframe Management team.  

The qualifications you need

  • You have good People Management skills and know how to plan for your team and motivate to deliver excellent service.  
  • You have a good knowledge of Batch Management tools and principles. You are skilled to Implement, Maintain and run Batch jobs in a critical financial environment. 
  • You have good cooperation skills and can work independently.  
  • You have good knowledge of TWS and JCL.  
  • You should be fluent in the English language both verbal and written.
