What you’ll do 

Marine Benefits AS is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join us as an Assistant Underwriter. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing and underwriting policies, ensuring that our offerings continue to stay relevant for our clients in the shipping industry. It shouldn't take too long until you’re armed with the know-how and skills needed to work independently with both existing and potential clients as part of our dynamic, international team.  

 Qualities and skills 

We’re after someone who is: 

  • Self-driven, curious and keen to learn 
  • A service-minded team-player with a positive attitude
  • Interested in sales and in developing a commercial mindset
  • An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of cultural awareness
  • Strongly analytical with sound decision-making skills
  • Has a university, college, or equivalent education to at least Bachelor level. We encourage recent graduates with an interest in pursuing a career in the maritime field within health/insurance to apply.
