MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in our company’s operations and be accountable for performing a variety of ongoing accounting and analytical activities. They will include:
Accounting and Finance system information updates:
- Upload month-end costs and forecast to Aqua Finance
- Work closely with the Biology team to ensure all operational data accurately reflects financial needs and the real situation
- Work with the operational team to address unreasonable cost or issues which lead to inaccurate information in Finance
- Address and correct inaccuracies in Aqua Finance data, including biology data
Month-End Close and reporting:
- Manage month-end accruals
- Handle interest calculations and intercompany balance reconciliation
- Conduct sales/inventory reconciliations
- Allocate costs between different cost groups
- Trace operational data to ensure it meets the needs of financial reporting
- Finish required reporting on time
- Update analysis reports and work with the operational team to figure out the reasons of variances

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA designation or equivalent is preferred
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reconciliations
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Hyperion (HFM), M3 (Movex ERP), Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to show initiative and confident working independently
- Willingness to participate in Mowi’s development and training opportunities
- Ability to work within a fast paced and deadline driven environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the aquaculture or food industry is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
