Compliance Manager EU

Compliance Manager EU

Do you enjoy leading complex compliance topics with many stakeholders – and being the one who creates structure and direction?

Are you at your best when you combine regulatory knowledge with coordination, communication, and follow-through?

Then you might be the person, we are looking for.

The impact you’ll make

As Compliance Manager EU, you will play a key role in ensuring that products, processes and decisions across the value chain meet complex and evolving regulatory requirements. You turn legislation into practical guidance  – enabling the organization to act with credibility and confidence.

You operate at the intersection of regulation, product compliance, business, and people. By translating EU and international legislation into clear processes, documentation, and guidance, you support compliant products, informed commercial decisions, and strong customer relationships.

Working closely with the Global Compliance Team and a wide range of stakeholders, you help build trust – with customers, authorities, and across the organization – while supporting long-term, responsible growth.

What you’ll be doing

You take ownership of the compliance agenda in a role that combines project leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep regulatory understanding.

You will:

  • Act as the EU compliance lead, ensuring alignment with global compliance teams.
  • Monitor and interpret EU and international regulations (e.g. EUDR, PPWR, REACH, RoHS, GPSR, packaging and textile legislation) and translate requirements into practical guidance.
  • Lead and coordinate compliance initiatives across design, sourcing, production, logistics, and sales.
  • Partner closely with commercial teams on customer requirements, contracts, and compliance related questions.
  • Understand and implement new requirements arising from both customers and new regulations across the product portfolio.
  • Support claims handling, audits, CAP’s, and risk assessments through sound documentation and structured follow-up.
  • Help build, maintain, and document compliant processes, including relevant SOP’s and KPI’s.
  • Train and advise colleagues to strengthen compliance awareness and shared ownership.
  • Collaborate closely with ESG team on sustainability – and reporting-related compliance requirements.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines intellectual curiosity, commercial understanding, structure and personal drive.

You likely bring:

  • Several years of experience within compliance, regulatory or product compliance, or a similar role in a complex international environment.
  • The ability to translate regulations and directives into actionable processes and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented skills, with attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • A self-driven and persistent approach – you follow things through and don’t let complexity stall progress.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the credibility (and confidence) to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • A high level of ownership, integrity, and responsibility for your field.

Ready to make a difference?

If you are motivated by complexity, structure, and responsibility – and if you enjoy translating compliance into practice – you will find strong professional meaning in this role.

You will join a workplace characterized by long tenure, strong collaboration, and a culture where people take responsibility for both results and each other. We work in an open and respectful environment, where professionalism, loyalty, and cooperation are valued, and where people are trusted to act with integrity and independence.

Here, compliance is not isolated in silos – it is part of a shared responsibility, supported by clear values, high engagement, and a real commitment to doing things the right way.

If all of this resonates with you, we would very much like to hear from you.
