About the job

We are looking for one person to work as kayak rental support for the upcoming summer season.

As a Kayak Rental Supporter, you will be a key part of ensuring our guests enjoy an outstanding experience from start to finish. Your primary responsibilities will include managing daily rental operations such as welcoming customers, handling bookings via our system, delivering safety and area briefings, and preparing gear. We need someone who keeps a cool head even when we're swamped by kayak enthusiasts on sunny days. To keep things interesting, you’ll also provide support to our tour guides on the water when we have large groups, acting as a support guide. Don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience; we provide training for this role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating our booking system on a tablet or computer and distributing equipment based on bookings (training provided).

• Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure it’s in excellent working condition.

• Welcoming customers and delivering clear, engaging safety and area briefings for daily rentals.

• During quieter times, assisting with general maintenance and tasks at the kayak center.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has communicative English skills (knowledge of Swedish is a plus, and other languages such as German or French are an advantage).
• Has experience in water and outdoor activities; kayaking experience is a bonus.
• Is familiar with our local area, or is eager to explore it to provide the best tips for our customers.
• Has a positive attitude and is outgoing toward our guests.
• Can work independently as well as in a team.
• Follows safety rules and procedures carefully.
• It’s an advantage if you can drive a bus and trailer.
• Preferably available to work from June to September.
