We founded our company in 1994, driven by a deep passion for kayaking and the Stockholm archipelago, with its thousands of islands and granite islets scattered across the Baltic Sea. Based here on the coast, we share our love for exploring this paradise we call home. About the job

This summer, we’re excited to welcome 2 new outdoor guides to our team! We’re looking for enthusiastic and versatile outdoor guides to lead hiking, biking, and/or kayaking adventures in Vaxholm and the stunning archipelago. Our ideal guides are natural leaders with unique interests in nature, wildlife, and history. You should be a strong communicator, a great storyteller, and excited to work across a variety of outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking… Most importantly, we want you to bring your joy, energy, and sense of fun to every adventure with our guests.

We welcome both certified guides and passionate enthusiasts eager to share their expertise. If you’re ready for a summer full of adventure and unforgettable experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Your main responsibilities:

  • Guide half-day and full-day outdoor adventures, including hiking, biking, and kayaking tours, primarily in English and/or German
  • Lead specialized experiences, such as kayaking sunset tours, wildlife explorations, or family-oriented trips, mostly conducted in English.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Inspect and maintain all gear and equipment (bikes, kayaks, safety gear), ensuring it is in safe and proper working condition.
  • On quieter days, assist with tasks to maintain smooth operations at the center.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, good decision-making for safety, and a positive attitude.
  • Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Can communicate fluently in English.

It's a bonus if you have:

  • A driver’s license.
  • Certifications in outdoor guiding, kayaking (e.g., EPP, BCU), or first aid.
  • Knowledge of other languages (e.g., Swedish, German, French).
