Do you want to work in a cosy Norwegian hut with beautiful surroundings? In that case, this position might be something for you. A tourist cabin in Norwegian Aurlandsdalen is looking for a chef for the summer.

About the employer

The mountain lodge is old with a lot of character, located at 1070 meters above sea level in beautiful high mountain terrain. Here, you'll have a busy workday, friendly guests, wonderful colleagues, and an active leisure time. The guests include outdoor enthusiasts, car tourists, hunters, motorcyclists, and celebrants.

The lodge offers homemade delicious food with a new twist, brews its own beer, forgages, fishes and bakes sourdough bread. The range of good quality local ingredients here provides plenty of opportunities to excel in the kitchen. We want to enhance the role of vegetables, and they often play the main role on the table here.

The role includes

• Cooking and baking for the guests staying at the cabin

We are looking for you who...

• Is between 18-30 years old
• Speaks English (Scandinavian and other languages are a plus)
• Has a driving license (not at requirement, but a big plus)
• Is passionate about food and sustainability (and has relevent experience)
• Self-sufficient and effective
• Works well in a team

Salary and work period

• Start and end dates are flexible, but around mid june - end of september
• Salary is following the Norwegian Riksavtal

Living and other information

• Housing is provided by the employer at a cheap monthy rate
• The reqruitement is on going and the position might be fulfilled before the end date of the appliation period
