Kiruna Guidetur är ett av de största guideföretagen i Kiruna och har funnits i 30 år. Sedan starten har vårt fokus varit små grupper och en personlig upplevelse. Vi samarbetar med många lokala operatörer och resebyråer från hela världen och planerar gästers resor från transfer till hotell och turer. Vårt fokus är att erbjuda små grupper personlig service och en genuin upplevelse av Kiruna och Lappland. Vi erbjuder ett stort utbud av turer i naturen runt Kiruna såsom snöskotrar, skidor, snöskor, isfiske och självklart jakten på norrskenet som är höjdpunkten och drömmen för många av våra gäster.

Företaget expanderar ständigt och vi välkomnar olika tillvägagångssätt och nya idéer. Som anställd hos oss får du möjlighet att utvecklas i din arbetsroll och prova olika arbetsområden tillsammans med kollegor från hela världen. Att trivas och ha roligt på jobbet är viktigt för oss, därför uppmuntrar vi initiativ för personalaktiviteter och organiserar en mängd sådana under säsongen. Boende kan vara svårt att hitta i Kiruna och vi erbjuder därför våra anställda personalboende.

Om jobbet

Våra guider är de som tillbringar mest tid med våra gäster och ser till att de har rätt utrustning för våra turer. Här lägger vi stor vikt vid sociala färdigheter och säkerhetstänkande. Som guide är du ansvarig för att förbereda turen, se till att ha rätt saker med dig och vara ute i god tid för dina uppgifter.

Om dig

Vi söker engagerade personer med ett stort intresse för natur och friluftsliv och som vill dela sina upplevelser med våra gäster. Jobbet som guide är mycket varierande då väder och förhållanden ändras från dag till dag, därför söker vi personer som kan anpassa sig till snabba förändringar.

Vi söker personer som:

• visar hög säkerhetsmedvetenhet
• är noggranna och ansvarstagande
• har mycket god social kompetens och är serviceinriktade
• har B-körkort (bil)
• har goda kunskaper i engelska i tal
• har snöskoterkörkort (ska innehas vid start)
• har genomgått första hjälpen-utbildning (vid antagning)

Meriterande:

• Tidigare erfarenhet av arbete inom turismbranschen
• Guideutbildning
• Ytterligare språkkunskaper
• Fotografikunskaper

About us

Kiruna Guidetur is one of the largest guide companies in Kiruna and has been around for 30 years. Since the start, our focus has been small groups and a personal experience. We work with many local operators and travel agencies from all over the world and plan guests' journeys from transfers to hotels and tours. Our focus is to offer small groups a personal service and a genuine experience of Kiruna and Lapland. We offer a large variety of tours out in the nature around Kiruna such as snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes, ice fishing and of course a hunt for Northern lights which is the highlight and dream for many of our guests.   

The company is constantly expanding and we welcome different approaches and new ideas. As an employee with us, you get the opportunity to develop in your work role and try different areas of work together with colleagues from around the world. About the job

Our guides are the ones who spend the most time with our guests and make sure they have the right equipment for our tours. Here we place great emphasis on social skills and safety thinking.
As a guide, you are responsible for preparing the tour, making sure to have the right things with you and being out in good time for your tasks. 

About you

We are looking for dedicated people with a great interest in nature and outdoor life and who want to share their experiences with our guests. 
The job as a guide is very varied where the weather and conditions change from day to day, we are therefore looking for people who can adapt to rapid changes. 

We are looking for people who:

• show high safety awareness 
• are careful and responsible 
• have very good social skills and are serviceminded
• have B driving licence (car)
• have good English in speech 
• have snowmobile driver's license (to be held at start) 
• have done first aid training (upon admission) 

Meritorius:

• Previous experience of jobs in the tourism industry 
• Guide training
• Additional language skills
• Photography skills
