About you

You may be between studies/jobs or want to take a leave of absence to go on an adventure and try your hand at a management position in Greenland. However, you must at least have a high school education or similar. It is an advantage if you are good with languages (English is required, Danish and Greenlandic are a real advantage as well as any other language) and if you have previously worked in a hotel.

About the position

As Junior Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation of the hotel and cafeteria in cooperation with the Hotel Manager. Your work will consist of management and administrative tasks, but you will also assist in the actual operations (Café, Restaurant, front-office…) to the extent necessary. Your immediate manager will be the Hotel Manager.

We are constantly striving to improve, and we expect you to be motivated by development as well. We are committed to exchanging experiences with each other so that together we can achieve our potential. We will continuously give you more responsibility – at a pace that you can keep up with. The position places high demands on you as a manager and requires you to be ready for change.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from the hotel industry.

About us

The hotel consists of approximatively 20 employees, a hotel, a restaurant, an arctic spa and a Conference Center. The management team is made up of the Hotel Management, the Front Office Manager and Yourself.

Conditions of employment

The employment period is a minimum of two years. We have had several employees who have moved here for a shorter period, but who have extended their time here, because of the amazing life that is possible in Greenland.
