As Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within our specialized organization, overseeing the engineering, construction, and delivery of customized production lines worldwide. Kallesoe is renowned for its expertise in wood processing machinery, particularly in designing and manufacturing fully automated production lines featuring Radio Frequency Technology for the solid wood industry. With our rapid growth, we seek an additional Project Manager to lead key projects.
About the role
As our new Project Manager, you will lead customer projects from contract signing to completion. This encompasses design, engineering, production, in-house assembly & testing, on-site installation, commissioning, and handover to the customer. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the project team, ensuring comprehensive customer communication, and coordinating activities and team members. Reporting to our VP of Projects, your key duties will include:
- Managing customer projects
- Engaging with customers
- Leading project teams to ensure contract compliance
- Managing contracts
- Planning and overseeing project resources and activities
- Risk management
- Collaborating with line managers to review design concepts
- Financial oversight and control of project budgets and expenses
About you
You are a positive individual fostering a constructive atmosphere. Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in Danish and German would be advantageous. You are proactive, taking responsibility and initiative to achieve results. Your organizational skills are exceptional, and you meticulously follow plans to drive success. Consistently meeting contractual obligations and budgetary constraints while surpassing customer expectations is your hallmark.
You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. While a bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, practical experience in comparable positions holds greater significance. Project management training or certification, such as PMI, would be beneficial. We offer comprehensive training in our industry, machinery, solutions, and industry standards.
