The Foundation Package Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe, suitable, effective, and optimal transport and installation plan for the foundations of the offshore wind farms.

Responsible for the installation is undertaken with compliance to industry standards, and to defining installation strategies and plans, tendering, negotiating offshore installation contracts, planning, and implementing installation.

The Foundation Package Manager will be required to be self-driven, motivated, team orientated and with sound experience in project procurement and project delivery phases.

 

Description of the position, key responsibility, and tasks:

  • Management of foundation installation, ensuring that contingency plans are being developed as required to ensure the delivery on time or with as little impact to program as possible.
  • Ensure that the installation scope is analyzed and optimized to ensure safest and most efficient installation possible.
  • Ensure that installation vessel charter agreements are in place.
  • Coordinate with the other packages to ensure safe installation in the project execution.
  • Coordinate with the installation contractor.
  • Contract management (ITT, evaluation, negotiation, awarding contracts).
  • Provide input to package budgets.
  • Preparation of O&M handover.
  • Actively contribute to organisational development through process improvement, standardization, simplification, and lessons learnt.

Qualification:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the offshore/onshore wind industry. 
  • Engineering degree.
  • Experience within procurement, contract and claim management.
  • Proficient in both written and oral English communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Ability to keep the overview, work under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
