The role:
The primary objective of this position is to ensure exemplary project management, ultimately generating significant value for the company in terms of a solid financial return. To achieve this, it is crucial to foster collaboration, implement effective project planning, and maintain a strong emphasis on cost control and efficiency. Our goal is to deliver outstanding results through a well-coordinated and streamlined approach.
As a Project Manager, you will be authorized to make purchases in accordance with the relevant Matrix of Approval, ensuring compliance with the established guidelines and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the execution of the project, ensuring adherence to the contract/frame agreement and achieving Project Profit & Loss objectives.
- Ensure project delivery according to specified Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) requirements and project schedule.
- Ensure fulfillment of the Frame Agreement/Purchase Order/Contract, particularly regarding time, scope, and quality.
- Create a structured work distribution and an efficient work organization in a positive and motivating work environment.
- Maintain close contact with employees, customers, and subcontractors.
- Delegate and follow up on work tasks, ensuring proper documentation of contractual communication.
- Keep all relevant parties updated on project progress and concerns.
- Ensure adherence to current HSE rules and agreed-upon quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of work instructions, procedures, job descriptions, and quality plans.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
Skills, abilities and knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities, fostering positive working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit a strong sense of overview.
- Knowledge of the wind industry and technical expertise in related areas.
- Preferably, a theoretical or practical education in a subject relevant to the wind industry.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in project management of complex projects in area of Wind Industry (Onshore/ Offshore Installation and re-powering).
- Experience in management areas of project related to various scopes (Cranes, Transport, Logistic, Associated equipment, Subcontractors etc.)
- Proficient in written, spoken, and comprehension of English language.
